Oil Change Service

Conventional, synthetic blend, and full synthetic oil changes with a multi-point inspection included.

More Than Just an Oil Change

Every oil change at Triplet includes a multi-point visual inspection at no additional charge. That means your technician will check fluid levels, tire pressure and tread depth, wiper condition, belts and hoses (visible), and note anything that looks like it may need attention in the near future.

Oil Type Options

Conventional

Suitable for older vehicles or those not requiring synthetic. Typically replaced every 5,000 km.

Synthetic Blend

A mix of conventional and synthetic base oils. Good balance of protection and cost for many modern vehicles.

Full Synthetic

Better high-temperature stability and cold-weather flow. Required by many modern engines, especially turbocharged ones.

What's Included

  • Drain and replace engine oil to manufacturer-specified grade
  • New oil filter
  • Check and top up washer fluid, power steering fluid, coolant
  • Tire pressure check (all four + spare if accessible)
  • Visual inspection of belts, hoses, and visible components
  • Multi-point inspection report provided at pickup

Interval Guidance

How often you need an oil change depends on your vehicle and what oil it uses. A good starting point is your owner's manual. If you're using conventional oil, every 5,000 km is a reasonable interval. Full synthetic in a modern engine can often go to 7,500–10,000 km. We'll note your mileage and remind you when you're due if you'd like.

Regardless of mileage, oil left in an engine for more than 12 months should be changed due to moisture accumulation and oxidation — even in low-mileage vehicles.
